In this car seat, safety is ensured from different sides. In case of side collisions, a high backrest with soft sidewalls is designed to protect the child. In case of head-on collisions, there is a safety belt system with SecureGuard technology that helps to position the waist belt in an optimal position above the pelvic bones, which reduces the risk of abdominal injuries. The car seat is also equipped with XP-Pad and Sict safety systems. In addition, the correct location of the diagonal seat belt is monitored by a specially provided seat belt fastening bracket.

According to internal tests conducted at its own landfill, the Britax Roemer Kidfix i-Size car seat is by far the safest among all the company's car seats.
